Wet Bar
A popular item for a B and B guest
room is a wet bar which integrates a beverage refrigerator, a wine reserve,
and an ice maker invisibly within a custom designed/custom built piece
of furniture.
An integrated wet bar prevents the marring of a room's
decor with a kitchen appliance placed in a hall area, guest room,
or some other location other than a kitchen. A wet bar, as other custom
designed pieces, can be designed to coordinate with B
and B guest rooms or for placement in
one of the inn's common areas. A photograph of a custom designed/custom

Beds and Bedroom Furniture
Custom designed/built beds, integrated
wardrobes (which can include varied combinations including TV, wet bar,
ironing board and iron, full-length mirror, closet space, etc. according
to an inn's specific desires and needs), and other bedroom furniture are
among AWD's specialties. AWD takes special pride in
the innovative bed styles they
have designed and/or built. Plans for beds/day bed designs, featuring
a trundle bed for children--ideal for parents traveling with a small child
to a B and B--is currently on AWD's drawing board.
AWD has recently been commissioned
(by a client in CA) to build a custom designed bed which would be an excellent
addition to a B and B suite promoted as "the suite that has everything."
Among other features, including built in drawers and a revolving magazine
rack, the bed boasts a retractable plasma widescreen for watching movies
in bed. The bed is scheduled for delivery and installation in mid-March,
