Close-up View of China Cabinet
| Like this residence, so many B and
Bs are older homes for which the owners desire to maintain the property's
original architectural integrity while incorporating modern amenities and
spe- cific needs. By working with professional designers and builders,
one's goals can be met as the old and new are seamlessly blended
through the implementation of creativity and innovative designs. |

Custom built China Cabinets
Dining Area
(with matching china cabinets
and gourmet kitchen in background)
These custom built china cabinets
were designed
for a residential dining room area to
create an open kitchen feel to the dining space while main-
taining privacy from the kitchen.
Note how the built-in china cabinets have the
same design language as the custom designed/ custom built gourmet kitchen.
The design was created to meet the client's request for their newly designed
kitchen and dining spaces to have the same archi-
tectural language as their 1920s coastal cottage.
The opening in this photograph was originally
a 3'-0" opening with a hall to the original kitchen and laundry room. The
finished work exemplifies a re-
novation project blending seamlessly into the
au-
thentic architectural language and intent of
the
home at the time of its original construction. |
